Many lives were saved by our very dedicated group of volunteers.

Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance CORPS (WALVAC) is a non-profit volunteer organization whose services are offered to the community for over fifty years. Funding and financial support is provided by private donations and solicitation.

While Waldwick VAC is staffed by volunteers and incurs no regular overhead costs, it takes heavy expenses for the cost of equipping volunteers with life-saving equipment such as oxygen, airway management devices, trauma equipment, defibrillators and advanced 2-way radios, in addition to ambulances.
